Our expert team

Nuffield Health Edinburgh Hospital works with over 80 consultants and other specialists in the local area, creating a unique, quality clinical environment, with our patients at the heart of our service. Many of these healthcare professionals also work in NHS Scotland and are leaders in their field. We employ more than 50 hospital staff, including highly experienced nurses. All our people are on hand to help patients get the best from their healthcare experience with us.

Healthcare Improvement Scotland aims to ensure that the people of Scotland experience the best quality health and social care. To practise at Nuffield Health Edinburgh Hospital, consultants must meet strict criteria set by our Medical Advisory Committee. Our consultants agree to comply with Nuffield Health's quality framework. This ensures that our patient care meets the highest safety and quality standards, and that we continually improve our services.

We also maintain strict hygiene standards to protect your health and safety. We do not have any known cases of hospital-acquired infections, such as MRSA.
