This specialty is concerned with the digestive system and a wide range of bowel conditions affecting the colon, rectum and anus.

Thankfully, most colorectal conditions are not life threatening, but many can cause discomfort and disrupt day-to-day activities.  Our colorectal physicians and surgeons offer a initial outpatient consultations to provide diagnosis, treatment and advice on a range of colorectal conditions.  If necessary, your consultant may refer you for an endoscopic examination to look for the causes of any problems, followed by treatment if necessary.

We also provide bowel cancer screening to assess the health of your bowel and your risk of bowel cancer.
