Cervical length measurement

By measuring the length of the neck of the womb - the cervix - it can be possible to identify those women who are at high risk of having a very premature delivery. If you are at high risk of a premature delivery, are having a multiple pregnancy, have previously had a very premature delivery or have had surgery on your cervix, it may be worth considering undergoing a cervical length assessment during the Fetal Wellbeing scan.
