Pre-travel appointments
Regular TrExMed travel clinics are currently held on:
Thursday evenings from 6pm to 8pm
Saturday mornings from 9am to 12pm
Corporate, group and school appointments can be arranged at times of mutual convenience.
In order to provide the most appropriate service for your particular travel needs, we ask all our clients to complete a brief health questionnaire before being seen.
You can download the TrExMed Health Questionnaire (pdf) now and either post it to the clinic or bring it with you to your initial consultation. If you are not able to complete the questionnaire in advance, we would ask you, please, to arrive at least ten minutes before your appointment to allow time to do it then.
Approximate appointment durations and costs are as follows:
- Standard appointment: Typically with the travel nurse practitioner, lasts 40 minutes. £30 for an individual or £40 for a couple seen together.
- Family appointment: As above but for two adults plus two children. £50 for up to an hour.
- Short appointment: This option is reserved for experienced travellers who only require minimal advice, e.g. a repeat anti-malarial prescription, Yellow fever vaccine or blood test only. £20 per person for up to 30 minutes.
- Doctor consultation: For travellers with a complex medical history, pregnant, travelling or migrating with young children, you may wish to book an appointment specifically with Dr Bond. Typically £50-£70 for up to an hour.
Travellers requiring a post-travel consultation and/or investigations are all seen by Dr Bond.
Vaccines and antimalarial tablets
Download prices (pdf) for our most commonly prescribed vaccinations and travel medicines. Please note some vaccines require a course, rather than a single vaccination. Return visits for boosters are included in the initial consultation charge.
