Urology (Men's Health)
Urology is the branch of surgery concerned with the urinary tract and male reproductive organs.
We offer regular outpatient clinics with Consultant Urologists for the investigation of a variety of urological conditions. We also offer prostate screening to provide a rapid diagnosis for patients with prostate problems, worried it could be cancer. Screening is led by a Consultant Urologist who will assess you initially and if necessary, may then refer you for further tests which can usually be done during the same appointment. You will then see the consultant for a second time and whenever possible, the results will be available for them to discuss with you and, if necessary, discuss the options and recommend any further course of treatment needed.
Our consultants specialise in:
- Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH)
- Bladder irritability
- Bladder and kidney stones

- Blood in urine
- Erectile dysfunction
- Groin swelling
- Incontinence (male and female)
- Painful and/or frequency of urination
- Prostate screening
- Testicular swelling
- Vasectomies
