Career Information
Dr Martin is a Consultant gynaecologist at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh and sub-specialist in gynaecological cancer surgery. He sees gynaecology patients at three NHS sites in the city of Edinburgh.
He participates in the multi-disciplinary South East Scotland Cancer Network. He gives advice throughout the South East, Fife, Borders and Dumfries regions.
He operates on cancer cases at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh and provides regional cancer support to the Borders General Hospital. He teaches at the Royal College of Obstetrics & Gynaecology regularly and reviews college guidelines on laparoscopic surgery.
He also teaches at the Cuschieri Surgical Skills Unit at Dundee University.
