I was born in 1960 and raised in Kirkcaldy. I attended medical school in Edinburgh with my post-graduate training in Newcastle-upon-Tyne followed by specialist training in London, Leicester and Stanford, California. I am a keen golfer with a love of music and am married with three children. Looking to the future I plan to retire to a warm country.
