Training and background
Having initially trained in Surgery and Paediatric Surgery Dr Moussa moved into radiology in 1983 and was appointed Consultant in 1988; developing uroradiology imaging and interventional training in Edinburgh.
Dr Moussa is a Consultant Uroradiologist based at the Scottish Lithotriptor Centre in Edinburgh. The Scottish Lithotriptor Centre is a major stone management centre in the UK offering the whole range of stone treatments. He is involved with one of the largest Urology and Oncology departments dealing with a large number of urological cancers and emergencies.
He is a past Chairman of BSUR (British Society of Urogenital Radiology) and active member of ESUR (European Society of Urogenital Radiology).
