Minor Surgery and Dermatology with over 20 years experience in minor surgery.  Mole Screening Services using Siascopy.

 

Training and background

Dr Dickson has pursued both a Surgical and General Practice career.  She currently works as a locality surgeon in Lothian and Midlothian and is also the main Vasectomy Surgeon in Lothian.

Dr Dickson spent eight years working as a hospital practitioner in the Dermatology department at the Royal Infirmary with a particular interest in skin lesions and tumours and undertook the year long Cardiff diploma course in Practical Dermatology. She is currently undertaking a three-month Cardiff Dermoscopy Course.

Working with the Lister Institute she has developed both Dermatology and Minor Surgery Courses for Primary Care.  Dr Dickson has also written numerous articles for Mims Dermatology for General Practitioners and Nurse Practitioners.

  • Out of hours General Practitioner in Lothian Unscheduled Care service.
  • Course Organiser for Lister Institute running Minor Surgery, Dermatology and Men’s Health Courses.
