Mr Alhasso graduated from Mosul University, Iraq, in 1989
He gained broad experience in surgical specialities overseas and then basic surgical training at Kings College, London
He was a research fellow for one year, studying bladder cancer, at Imperial College School of Medicine, University of London and achieved a Masters degree in Surgical Sciences (MSc) in 2000
He completed his urology training in East Scotland with subspecialisation in female and reconstructive urology
He is a reviewer in the Cochrane Collaboration/Incontinence group and has published systematic reviews and meta-analyses on urinary incontinence
Other information
I enjoy landscape and macro photography, and I am a member of the Bureau of Freelance Photographers.
In my spare time I also enjoy sailing and diving, and hold a PADI certificate. I am also a member of Cameron House Marina at Loch Lomond and the Royal Yachting Association.
