Cinical interests

Cataracts, glaucoma, dry eyes, watery eyes, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, removal of eyelid lumps and cysts, removal and reconstruction of midface skin tumours and correction of eyelid malpositions such as outward turning eyelids.

In addition to the above, Mr Ross offers specialist care for surgical and non-surgical rejuvenation of the eyelids and midface. This includes treatment of baggy lower eyelids, droopy upper eyelids, drooping eyebrows, prominent forehead wrinkles, facial asymmetry, sunken or hollowed looking eyes, downward turned outer eyelids, ingrown eyelashes and eyelid wrinkles. As well as surgical techniques, he uses Botox for the treatment of dynamic wrinkles and hyaluronic acid fillers (Restylane, Juvederm, Perlane, Voluma) for volume restoration of youthful facial contours.

Outside work

Originally from Balerno on the outskirts of Edinburgh, Mr Ross completed his schooling in Chiswick, London.  Since his university days he has lived, worked and studied in Scotland, England, Wales, Africa, India, Pakistan and New Zealand.  He has also travelled extensively around Europe, America, Australia and Asia.

In his spare time he enjoys art, photography and rugby.  He lives in the Scottish Borders with his wife, three children and a labradoodle who enjoys a good walk in the hills every morning before sunrise.
