Professional information
Dr Potter completed his degree in Chemistry before reading medicine. He qualified from Edinburgh in 1990.
His surgical training was largely in Edinburgh and South East Scotland with a brief sojourn to Leeds and Manchester. His practice covers all areas of Coloproctology and includes hernia surgery and excision of minor skin lesions.

Other information
I am married to Liz and we have four young children. I can often be found cheering them on from the side of a hockey pitch, football pitch or curling rink. To relax I enjoy golf, five a side football, crosswords and water colour painting.
