Your first experience of The Edinburgh Clinic will probably be phoning in to one our team to make an appointment. You can always phone to see a specialist consultant directly yourself but generally you will find that it is easier if you do this with a referral from your GP or medical advisor (physiotherapist, sports physician, occupational therapist etc). Almost certainly, if you have private medical insurance the insurance company will insist that your referral for a scan, consultation, procedure or physiotherapy appointment comes with a referral from your GP. Our trained staff can always help you with this process. Your GP can make a referral directly to us via our secure website.

If you are unsure about what type of consultant you need to see or are generally uncertain about your medical circumstances ask to speak with one of our nurses or General Manager, Fiona Cherry and they will be delighted to help and guide you.
