Women's Health at The Edinburgh Clinic
At The Edinburgh Clinic, we are particularly proud of our female health service which has been proving to be one of our most popular services to date. Services include pregnancy scanning, gynaecology and GCRM.
Pregnancy Scanning
Dr Catherine Calderwood, our consultant Obstetrician, has been delighted by the number of patients who have taken advantage of her expertise of looking after women with complicated pregnancies. She has been personally providing scans covering the full term of pregnancy, from early, anomaly and growth scans, since commencing her service in September 2009. We are extremely excited to announce that Dr Calderwood will shortly be increasing her clinics to meet the high demand that we are experiencing. In addition we are delighted that the first GCRM patients have been attending Dr Calderwood's clinic for their pregnancy scanning following successful treatment!
GCRM (Glasgow Centre of Reproductive Medicine)
GCRM commenced work from The Edinburgh Clinic in December. The workload has rapidly increased resulting in a GCRM presence at The Edinburgh Clinic 5 days a week.
The service has proved popular with female patients who have regular commented on the calm ambience of the building and helpful staff.
Gynaecology
Dr Alistair Milne, Dr Faye Rodger and Dr Cameron Martin now provide an extensive and comprehensive gynaecology team, with specialities of general gynaecology, colposcopy, infertility, and Urogynaecology to name but a few.
