The Edinburgh Clinic’s parent company Aspen Healthcare enjoyed success at the UK Customer Experience Awards (UKCXA) on Thursday 15 October, where the company’s response to the coronavirus pandemic achieved a Gold award.
Aspen won Gold in the ‘Customer Experience in the Crisis’ category and Bronze in the ‘Putting customers at the heart of everything’ categories, beating stiff competition from companies including BT, Anglian Water, AX, London Luton Airport and The AA.
Aspen achieved its Gold in one of the most competitive and highly-coveted categories of the evening, with a number of nationally-renowned companies showcasing their work to help local communities in the aftermath of the Covid pandemic. Aspen was selected by judges as the company most deserving of the Gold prize, after its hospitals and clinics committed their entire staff teams and full resources to the NHS to help battle the pandemic.
Since March, all of Aspen’s hospitals and clinics have been focused on supporting the NHS by delivering thousands of time-critical and urgent operations for NHS patients, a variety of outpatients clinics, providing life-saving ventilators and anaesthetic equipment, and carrying out vital diagnostics tests.
Aspen’s latest award success comes hot on the heels of a double Gold win at the UK Employee Experience Awards, and being shortlisted in two categories of the prestigious LaingBuisson Awards.

Since their launch a decade ago, the CXA awards programme has become widely recognised as a leading cross-industry programme that recognises excellence in customer service and experience. With companies presenting virtually due to the coronavirus pandemic, this year’s award ceremony was unlike UKCXA events of previous years.
