Mr Alhasso graduated from Mosul University, Iraq, in 1989. He gained broad experience in surgical specialities overseas and then basic surgical training at Kings College, London.
He was a research fellow for one year, studying bladder cancer, at Imperial College School of Medicine, University of London and achieved a Masters degree in Surgical Sciences (MSc) in 2000.
He completed his urology training in East Scotland with subspecialisation in female and reconstructive urology.
He is a reviewer in the Cochrane Collaboration/Incontinence group and has published systematic reviews and meta-analyses on urinary incontinence.
