I completed my higher surgical training in Urology on the East of Scotland training scheme. During this time, I did an in-training fellowship in prostate cancer with a focus on robotic prostate cancer surgery in Edinburgh. After completing surgical training, I carried out a preceptorship in the USA at the Cleveland Clinic and spent time visiting high-volume robotic surgeons in the US. A keen educator, I am involved in postgraduate teaching and research supervision within the University of Edinburgh, Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh and Heriot-Watt University.
