Starting out, having qualified in 1990, I committed to 12 years training in cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery. As well as undertaking a thorough training programme based in Scotland, I gained specialist fellowships in London (Cosmetic Surgery), Sydney, Australia (Facial Surgery) and Toronto, Canada (Facial and Breast Microsurgical Reconstruction), as well as studying ears with several famous surgeons from around the world.
Since 2002 I have been on the General Medical Council (GMC) specialist register and working as a consultant plastic surgeon.
In the NHS I undertake complex reconstructive surgical procedures with specialist interests in fat redistribution and ear reconstruction.
In Private Practice, I undertake aesthetic plastic surgery including facial rejuvenation, otoplasty and rhinoplasty, as well as utilising my experience in breast augmentation, tummy tucks, uplift and reduction and Liposuction.
