If you lead an active life and regularly engage in strenuous exercise and sports, you will know that injury can happen all too easily. Falling awkwardly, twisting a knee, stretching and tearing a muscle or snapping an Achilles tendon are all frustrating injuries that can leave you out of the game for a long, long time.

So if you are suffering from a sporting injury we can help. We can offer comprehensive, fast and specialist orthopaedic diagnosis and treatment for exercise-related injuries from golfer’s elbow to runner’s knee, rib fractures to shin splints.

Our highly trained orthopaedic specialists are renowned in their area expertise. They can offer reassurance, peace of mind and support throughout diagnosis, treatment and follow-up care.

This includes a rapid, point-of-care screening of your injury for vital early diagnosis, using the very latest MRI and CT scanning facilities.

Once a diagnosis has been made, our orthopaedic specialists can suggest any follow-up treatment you may need. These could include acupuncture, re-aligning a dislocated shoulder, treating a foot or ankle fracture or repairing damaged meniscal tear (the little cushions in the knee which absorb shock).

Our team also works closely with our physiotherapists to help you back to the sport you love as quickly as possible. There are also podiatrists and dieticians to support your recovery. We will also advise you on how you can avoid similar injuries in the future.
